My husband and I came out for anniversary and booked a trip with Joaquin. He was absolutely the best guide & true gentlemen!

We are so grateful we chose this trip and were elated with our catches !

My wife and two kids had a blast with Captain Pena. He was amazing with the kids and did a great job explaining each technique used.

He spent lots of time with our daughter and she caught the biggest black drum. The smile on her face is something I’ll never forget.

I love to fish and he was happy to answer all of my questions. The boat and gear was perfect for what we were doing and the fight from the black drum was impressive!

Truly an awesome experience with captain pena! He’s very knowledgeable and with safety being the main priority, you can’t go wrong. Though the reds were not biting, the black drum were! He kept us on the fish and gave us memories that will last forever!

My three grown sons and I fished with Captain Pena on February 18th. Although fishing can be a bit fickle, and our day with Captain Pena was no exception, we had a great time.

Captain Pena had kept in contact with us as our charter day approached, and we knew it was going to be a tough bite. Winds were forecast to be very light in the morning, becoming stronger as the day progressed. We had booked a 7am charter, but Captain Pena stayed in contact with us and suggested a later start, to which we agreed.

The bite was indeed tough, but Captain Pena worked very hard to locate fish, trying different locations and presentations. It took a few hours, but we finally found some Speckled Seatrout and had a great time catching about 75. Toward the end of our day, we targeted Red Fish and managed to catch 2 fish for dinner.

Captain Pena is a very calm, courteous and knowledgeable fisherman. He worked very hard for us, and we had a great time fishing with him.
